A Day At Leonardslee Gardens 10th May 2008
There's a blue sky and the sun shines brightly, its Saturday 10th May 2008, and off we go for the day.
10 Members sent off to Leonardslee Gardens for the day. It was lovely, the flowers are in full blossom, and on some the perfume was quite aromatic. Have you ever been there, well if not, why not? It really is a wonderful place to go.
We wander along pathways enjoying the scene unfold before us, the colours, the size of the shrubs, the blossom, and the lakes. After spending some time wandering along it become obvious that refreshments were needed. First the coffee shop, then collecting our picnic lunches from the cars we spread ourselves out under an oak tree.
After a lovely time we left to find a hostelry for an evening meal, also to be entertained by the landlord, who kept us amused with a number of magic tricks.
Thanks to Barry and Val for arranging the day. ...... Stella.
So you didn't include what all the giggling was about in the ladies loo. True you didn't all take up the offer from the barman for change. Something about Rhythm Sticks????
