Coach Trip to Bressingham Gardens and Southwold. 13th June 2009

An early start from Upminster Station, two quizzes by Keith on the coach and we were at the Gardens ready to go in as they opened. What a load of kids we were as we went on the steam railways and carousel. More than one of the ladies had problems getting their leg over on the horses. Great museum and gardens then optional lunch.

Early in the afternoon we were off on the coach to Southwold. The under the pier amusements caused a laugh. Pity but the Zimmer Frame trainer was out of action. Doug practiced dog walking, Stella and Sue had some exercises on the bed. We then returned to the coach for a short trip to the restaurant on the beach for our early evening fish dinner. Dave our friendly driver then drove along the coast at Thorpe Ness, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge. Then inland back to Upminster. Every thing went well. Even the weather was great except for the wind on the beach.
