image (plugin)

Places an image on the page.

The image plugin is more customisable than the img plugin.

With the image plugin you can choose to float the image either left or right. Alternately, you can align the image left, right or center.

By default, the images are links to their own wiki page.

To upload a new image to the wiki, place the image plugin in the page you wich the image to appear. The name of the image must end in the appropriate extension (png, jpg, bmp, or gif). Once saved, you can then create a new image by clicking the (broken) link.

For example, if I wished to add a new image called "logo.png", create the image link like this :

Look at this : {{image( page="logo.png" )}}

Look at this :

wiki:logo.png

How to Upload an Image

  • Add an image plugin (as shown above) to a non-existent page. Make sure you end the page name with .png or .jpg.
  • Click the link that you just created
  • Click create
  • Click browse
  • Choose the image you want to upload, and click ok.
  • Describe the image, and then click save.

It sounds long winded, but its very easy realy.
