Easy Bake yeast (also know as easy-blend and rapid-rise), is a dried yeast specially made for use in bread machines. The granules are smaller than regular dried yeast.
Regular dried yeast should only be used in a bread machine if it is specially prepared, by activating first by adding it to warm water with a pinch of sugar and letting it stand for 10 minutes. It should show signs of life, by frothing. You will need to adjust the amount of water in the recipe accordingly.
