My First Big Poker Win
Today (2008-01-09) I made my first big win. I started with a stake of £25, and left the table $100 richer.
Much of that money was one in a single hand. I had pocket 5's, and I hit quads I checked it to the river, hoping somebody would try bluffing, or hit a good hand Someone raised $2, I re-raised to $5, to my surpise and delight a re-raised to $15. He must have a hand There was a flush possibilty on the table. I went all in, and was called. The poor fellow had a full house, and so could have hoped that I had just the flush.
