Courgette Country Grain Bread
Page 409 in the Bread and Bread Machine Bible.
As usual, I only make a small loaf of Bread here.
Ingredients
- 55ml Buttermilk
- 70ml Water
- 115g Grated Courgette
- 280g White Bread Flour
- 50g Wholemeal Bread Flour
- 25g Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1tsp Rapid Rise Yeast
- 1tbsp Sunflower Seeds
- 1tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
- 1tsp Millet Seeds
Method
- Put all ingredients except the seeds in the bread tin in the order listed.
- Make a well in the centre of the flour and pour in the yeast
- Select the 1lb basic white setting, and press start
- Near the end of the dough cycle, add the seeds.
- Just before the baking cycle, brush with water and sprinkle with corn meal.
Notes
I didn't have buttermilk, so I used regular milk.
